Tricia's Musical Journey
Biography
Tricia's CD "Country All Over Me" is a dream come true, she has a special message to say and singing country music says it all for her. Tricia was born in Warner Robins, Georgia and made her first live performance debut on September 2, 2006, at the Hubbard Alumni Association Seventh Annual Culloden Chick Willis Blues Festival, Culloden Georgia. She was an add-on, but quickly became a crowd pleaser. One of Tricia's favorite songs is "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood and she sings it as a tribute to all who have served and are serving in the Armed Forces and especially, her father a 24 year retired Air Force Veteran. Although, Tricia was born in Warner Robins, GA, her family roots also run deep in South Carolina (Allendale and Hampton County) where her parents were born.
At an early age, Tricia always enjoyed listening to country music, singing around the house and while riding in the car. As an inspiring newcomer to the country music arena, her approach is passionate and sincere. She adds her relaxed style mixture soprano/alto creating a unique sound to the songs she sings.
Tricia has been devoting all her spare time in preparation for her first CD, "Country All Over Me"and is very pleased and honored to perform with her producer/arranger, R&B Legendary Roy C (Hammond), in singing some old favorites, "Since I Met You Baby", a remix and "Sweet Home Alabama". Also, this CD features a "Bonus Track", which Tricia and her mother (Linda Barnwell) perform together an original "I'm Pulling the Plug" co-written by her mother, co-produced by Tricia and her mother. Tricia performs another original "Your Love Is Like a Light Switch", co-written by her mother. Tricia is looking forward to going on the road doing what she loves best, singing her favorite songs.
Tricia will be forever grateful to her uncle, Guy Harrison, who spent numerous hours working and coaching her and also letting her perform at his karaoke shows. She extends special thanks to Mrs. Gwen McDonald of McDonald's Horse Supply Authentic Country and Western Apparel store for allowing her photo session to take place at her store in Bonaire, Georgia.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU goes out to: God who she so dearly believes in. Her entire family & friends, especially, Alton, Val, Hillisha and Diane who have strongly supported this recording project. Her studio band members (Jonathan Burton, Gerad Blume, Diane Blume, Anthony Hames, Joe Exum, Randy Smith, David Dellinger, Elddy Trevino), background vocals (The Guinyard Singers [Cherry, Janice, Ruby]), NAARVA family and Hubbard Alumni Association. Last but not least, a special thanks to her producer & arranger, Roy C (Hammond), who spent endless hours making many trips from Allendale, South Carolina driving to and from the recording studio in Matthews, North Carolina.
